- It seems like saying all your cloths should come from the same shop. You may find that you prefer one company's cleanser and another's toner or moisturiser. That's fine. Use what you feel happiest with. Mixing them is no worse than wearing GUESS jeans and a DKNY top.

13. Hypo-allergenic means you won't get allergic reactions.
- Hypo-allergenic means manufacturers have left out ingredients likely to cause an allergic reaction - such as perfume. However, you could still be allergic to one of the other ingredients.
14. Everyone should use a toner.
- Toner is wonderful for removing any last traces of cleansing lotion, but if you don't wear make-up and use a rinse-off facial wash, you won't need a toner.
15. Your skin can never be too clean.
- Many people take the attitude that the more you wash and scrub and the hotter the water is, then the better it is for your skin. In fact, what you're more likely to end up with by doing this is broken veins, red blotches and dry, sensitive skin. 17. You don't need eye cream until you're over 30.
- People as young as 20 may need to use one. As the skin around your eye is very thin, it's one of the first places to get wrinkles. Skin here has very few oil glands, so it can dry out easily if you don't moisturise. Don't rely on your face cream as it might be too rich and make your eyes puffy.
